GPTCleanup Pro does two jobs in one pass on Gemini text, from the chat window or after an Export to Docs. It removes the invisible Unicode characters nested-list rendering and the Docs export pipeline can leave behind, and it audits the writing itself: marking the openers, hedges, connectors and pivots that make a reader recognise the text as machine-written.

Most people meet these characters as a bug rather than a privacy concern. A non-breaking space embedded in what appears to be ordinary indentation from a Docs export can silently defeat a search operating on the literal text. A byte-order mark in a JSON-LD block invalidates your structured data.

Uniform sentence length

Every sentence eighteen words long. Human writing lurches: four words, then thirty.

There is genuine, active research into watermarking AI-generated text, and it does not work by hiding a character. Statistical token watermarking biases which words a model is statistically more likely to choose across an entire passage, distributing a pattern through ordinary vocabulary rather than concentrating it in any single byte. No character-level scanner, Pro included, can detect or affect that kind of pattern.

Third-party detectors weigh statistical properties of the writing far more heavily than invisible bytes. Removing hidden characters fixes formatting and paste problems; it does not change how a sentence reads, and no tool that promises undetectable text is telling you the truth.
